The Home-based training program, developed jointly by specialists, parents and student-volunteers, for children with special needs who are isolated and lack opportunities to attend mainstream schools. Parents are trained with creative crafts and other skill that can be imparted at home level
Children with severe behavior problems require continuous and systematic intervention. To help families cope with the demands of raising a child with autism, a variety of training activities is provided to permit parents and siblings to participate in the child's learning experiences. Home programming helps parents acquire the skills to be home tutors and therapists for their children. A new Parent Training Program is being planned to train parents/home caretakers in model intervention procedures.
