Five days workshop “ Theatre of Differently abled “ is organized by the centre for disability studies as part of the Fine arts Program
Mission
The Mission of the Fine Arts program of the Center for Disability Studies is to support Children who have disabilities and interested in theatre or drama .
The program shall help the child to achieve their goals for the future, whether interested in the arts as a profession, hobby or just for exploration. It shall also offer accessible and developmental dance opportunities in a warm and nurturing environment. The essence of this program involves increasing access to resources to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in the fine arts. The workshop will further aim to present public performance by the performing ensemble to a broader community- telling their stories, breaking down barriers and misperceptions.
Experts from School of Drama, Calicut University
Experts from School of Drama , Calicut University will be handling the sessions. The Experts will act as navigators linking people with a diverse range of opportunities.
