Centre of Excellence for Differently Abled Studies (CeDS) is a specialized educational and support unit operating under the LBS Centre for Science and Technology (a Government of Kerala Undertaking).

Purpose and Key Services

CeDS is dedicated to the empowerment, education, and professional development of differently abled individuals. Its primary initiatives include:

Skill Development & Vocational Training

The Centre frequently conducts free, specialized training programs—such as Data Entry, Office Automation, and other "D-Skill" courses—specifically aimed at candidates with 40% or more disability to help them build employable skills.

Counseling Services

CeDS provides free, professional counseling for both children and parents. Their counseling covers a range of developmental and educational needs, including attention deficit, hyperactivity, speech and learning disabilities, dietary regulation, and career guidance.
