CeDS works under LBS Centre for Science and Technology to support persons with disabilities through training, counselling, research support and awareness activities.
Purpose and Services
CeDS focuses on empowerment, education and professional development for persons with disabilities. Its programmes combine training, counselling, awareness, research-linked initiatives and resource support.
D-Skill programmes include computer applications, office skills, Tally, web designing, PSC exam training, creative work and vocational areas that support employment and self-employment.
CeDS provides Friday and Saturday consultation in personal counselling, career counselling, nutrition counselling and education counselling for persons with disabilities and families.
The centre supports approved disability-focused research projects, horticulture therapy, library and information services, student internships and ECO Green paper bag making activities.
Know Your Child workshops for parents, Know Your Student workshops for faculties, awareness talks and seminars support learners and the wider community.
