Programme Approach
The D-Skill Development Programme is designed to empower persons with disabilities through practical training for livelihood readiness, self-employment and job opportunities.
D-Skill Training Areas
Training areas are selected to support employment, self-employment, daily digital confidence and independent participation.
Other Services / Programmes
CeDS supports approved research projects connected with disability studies, assistive learning, rehabilitation support and quality-of-life improvement.
Parent-focused sessions help families understand the needs, strengths and support requirements of children with disabilities.
Faculty-oriented workshops support inclusive teaching practices, classroom understanding and student guidance.
Internship opportunities provide structured exposure to disability studies, support services and inclusive practice.
Horticulture-based activities are used as a supportive intervention to encourage participation, confidence, routine and wellbeing.
Parents of children with disabilities are guided on effective support, upbringing, educational direction and practical ways to reduce barriers faced by the child.
Counselling and consultation are offered on Fridays and Saturdays for persons with disabilities and their families.
Library and information services support learners, parents, teachers, researchers and stakeholders with relevant disability-related resources.
The ECO Green Unit promotes practical skill development and environmental awareness through paper bag making activities.
